Development Dialogue at first aspires us for travelling around to capture the imaginations of ordinary citizens, their daily concerns and necessities and circulate these elements in policy articulation. Development Dialogue is a language of contemporary discourses on human development which aims to stimulate each entity of the society for a new history of humanity. It stands for communicating the problems that people face and hence is more value-based than other units of human life. Envisioned with better quality of human life it admires the imagination of ordinary citizens, their daily concerns and necessities and circulate these elements in policy articulation.
“The Dialogue” is based on the following objectives:-
1. To bring civil societies and younger population together in shaping the core human values-- freedom, justice and solidarity-- as mediating structures between the base and superstructure of the society.
2. To facilitate younger population popular participation in the governance and development processes.
3. To aspire and influence Younger Population, Indigenous Ethnic Communities (IEC), Non-governmental organizations (NGOs), Civil Societies, Women, Professional Organizations, Development Professionals and Environmentalists to foster their significant role and cooperation in state building.
4. To trigger the dialectics of social transformation and strengthen the social foundations of democracy and human rights.
5. To build alliance for the protection of the social sphere and public good by removing plenty of constraints from the realization of constitutional rights, economic and political entitlements and opportunities for civic empowerment.
Development Dialogue motivates us to unravel the discourses on democracy and sustainable development. It further helps us understand what Democracy & Development mean in the different cultural and civilization milieus and how they are realized at personal and public levels. With Sustained engagement of youths along with coordination and support from vibrant civil society, we strive to help transcend the monopoly of economic and political power by certain class or caste of society and enforce the accountability of leaders from the grassroots level of self-governance.
The blog Development Dialogue aims to be an Hub for Youths, Volunteers, professionals across the globe for global public diplomacy.
